Terms & Conditions
These are The Wholeness Pods (TWP) general terms and conditions for use of this site and our services offered on our website and in our Pod/s. Please carefully read these terms and conditions as any purchases made and or services you use are now subject to these terms and conditions and you now hereby agree to them.
We try to make sure that all information contained on this site (and provided by us to you as part of any Service) is correct, but, subject to the paragraph below, we do not accept any liability for any error or omission and exclude all liability for any action you (your legal representatives, heirs) may take or loss or injury you may suffer (direct or indirect including loss of pay, profit, opportunity or time, pain and suffering, any indirect, consequential or special loss, however arising) as a result of relying on any information on this site or provided through any Service supplied by us to you.
Service Description
The Wholeness Pod provides services such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Cryotherapy, Light Therapy, and Far Infrared Sauna heat therapy. The number of treatments booked determines the availability of these services. TWP team members can advise on the recommended sessions based on initial consultations or pre-treatment forms.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a treatment that involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurised environment. During a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy session, a person enters a specially designed chamber, often referred to as a hyperbaric chamber or hyperbaric oxygen tank. The air pressure inside the chamber is increased to a level higher than the atmospheric pressure at sea level.
The increased pressure allows the lungs to take in a higher concentration of oxygen, which is then carried by the bloodstream to all parts of the body. This elevated oxygen level in the body can promote various therapeutic effects.
HBOT at The Wholeness Pod works in partnership with Dr Zayd, a leading expert in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, with over 20 years of experience. He is a faculty member of the International Hyperbaric Association and trains and teaches physicians worldwide on proper education and implementation of this procedure and how to integrate it within various specialty fields of medicine.
Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a therapeutic technique that involves exposing the body to extremely cold temperatures for a short period. It is typically used to reduce inflammation, alleviate muscle soreness, and provide various health and wellness benefits. Whole Body Cryotherapy (WBC) is when a person enters a specialised chamber or cabin, often called a cryosauna, where they are briefly exposed to temperatures as low as -200 to -300 degrees Fahrenheit (-130 to -190 degrees Celsius) for one to three minutes. The extreme cold stimulates the body’s natural response to cold exposure, causing blood vessels to constrict and then dilate upon exiting the chamber. This process is believed to promote various health benefits, including reduced inflammation, pain relief, and improved energy and well-being.
Safety precautions are essential to prevent frostbite or other adverse effects. Always consult with a healthcare provider before considering Cryotherapy, especially if you have underlying medical conditions.
Far Infrared Sauna
Far Infrared Sauna heat therapy is a type of sauna therapy that uses far infrared (FIR) waves to produce heat and warm the body. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, far infrared saunas use infrared light to directly heat the body’s tissues and core temperature. Far infrared saunas emit invisible light that is absorbed by the body, promoting a feeling of warmth from within. Far infrared saunas typically operate at lower temperatures (usually around 120-140°F or 50-65°C) compared to traditional saunas. Far infrared waves penetrate the skin’s surface and can go deep into tissues, promoting a gentle, more sustained heat effect.
Light Therapy
Light therapy pads, often referred to as LED light therapy pads or panels, are wellness devices that use light-emitting diodes (LEDs) to deliver specific wavelengths of light to the body or targeted areas. These pads emit non-thermal, low-level light energy, which is believed to have various therapeutic benefits. Light therapy pads are commonly used for several purposes.
Light therapy pads come in various shapes and sizes, and they can be flexible and portable, making them convenient for our Pod settings. The choice of pad and the specific light wavelengths used will depend on the intended therapeutic purpose.
Informed Consent
When completing pre and post-treatment forms, provide accurate information. We are not liable for any incorrect details. The Wholeness Pod reserves the right to refuse treatment if concerns arise, recommending consultation with a personal doctor. The TWP team guides clients on preparation and aftercare for treatments, emphasising the importance of professional supervision. Please read our FAQ for specific preparation instructions.
Client Eligibility
The Wholeness Pod does not service children under the age of 16 unless asked otherwise by the child's parent, carer or health professional. Treatment will be provided depending on the treatment practitioner sees suitable. We can refuse service to any children entering the Pod wanting to use treatment we deem as unsafe for the child. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
If you require assistance on the day of your appointment please let a member of TWP know at least an hour before your appointment time.
Clients with severe health conditions should consult with their doctor or general practitioner prior to booking a treatment. As some health conditions may make clients ineligible for certain treatments.
Before receiving any of the wellness treatments, including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Cryotherapy, Far Infrared heat therapy, and Light therapy, we want to ensure that you are fully informed about the nature of these therapies. These treatments are intended to promote well-being, alleviate certain conditions, and enhance your overall health.
Please be aware that individual responses to these therapies can vary, and there are potential risks associated with them. It is essential that you acknowledge the following:
-
You must eat a substantial meal a minimum of 1-2 hours before your treatment to avoid fatigue during or after your treatment.
-
No extreme exercise 1 hour before your session (exceptions made for athletes)
-
The treatments are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking medications, it is your responsibility to consult with your healthcare provider before proceeding with any of these therapies. Clients with any serious health conditions will need to prove written evidence by their practitioner that enables them to undertake therapy treatments.
-
You should inform our staff of any health issues, allergies, or concerns that might affect your safety or the effectiveness of the treatments.
-
Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy, Cryotherapy, Far Infrared heat therapy, and Light therapy may have potential side effects, and it is crucial to be aware of and discuss these with our professionals.

We explicitly state our liability limits and require clients to release our business from any claims, injuries, or adverse reactions resulting from treatments.
Booking and Cancellation Policies
Appointments are subject to availability, and we request thoughtful consideration of your treatment choice and appointment date before booking. To ensure excellent service for all clients, a single rescheduling of appointments is permitted. If the same appointment is rescheduled more than once, the payment for that appointment will be forfeited, requiring a new payment for future services.
Payment options include full payment and convenient subscription/monthly plans. A minimum of 72 hours' notice for cancellations is appreciated to avoid payment forfeiture. You may reschedule a cancelled appointment within 24 hours of the original date at no extra charge. Failure to cancel or reschedule results in 100% payment forfeiture.
Sessions cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the person named in the original booking. For appointment rescheduling, contact a TWP team member at least 72 hours before your appointment to prevent payment forfeiture.
Late Policy
To ensure optimal service and respect for everyone’s time, we recommend clients arrive 15 minutes before their appointment for preparation and form completion. If a client is up to 15 minutes late, the appointment may be cancelled with full payment forfeiture based on availability. For arrivals 20 minutes or more past the scheduled time without sufficient notification (before your appointment), the appointment will be cancelled, and the full amount will be charged.
Refund & Exchange Policy
-
Please note that purchases of package sessions are non-refundable and this policy applies to all treatments.
-
For offers and promotions, we do not offer refunds; however, we do provide the flexibility to exchange them for different treatments.
-
(*Exceptions may be made for medical concerns and bereavements with appropriate notice.)
-
In the case of a refund request based on a medical reason or bereavement, we may consider providing an alternative treatment at our Pod. The refunded amount will be calculated based on the total fee for treatment sessions taken to date, at a single session rate, which will be deducted from the total package price.
-
Once purchased, treatments or services cannot be refunded or exchanged for different services outside of the initial 7-day cooling-off period from the purchase date, should you change your mind.
-
Please be aware that refunds cannot be provided for treatments paid for through financing options.
-
Once a treatment course has commenced, no refunds will be available.
